Q: How long have you been in business?

A: The owner, Don Lents, has been in the Human Resource field since 1998.  He has been a Director of Recruiting at a Fortune 200 company and owned two different companies involving Human Resource Consulting, Recruiting, and Staffing. Don has owned JumpStart Resumes since 2001.

Q: What services do you provide?

A: Ultimately, our goal is to help you get the job of your dreams! That translates to professional resume writing for both federal and civilian positions, job search seminars, Linked In Profiles, one-on-one coaching, to include mock interview and salary negotiation practice. 

Jumpstart Resumes goes beyond just writing your resume; we walk you through the entire job search and hiring process. We show you the "Ins and Outs" of getting to "Yes!"

Q: What is the average "turn-around" time for a resume?

A: We normally require 3-5 days to complete the resume. However, we do have a 24-48 hour "quick-turn" service if needed.

Q: Do you offer services for transitioning or retired military personnel?

A: Absolutely!  Our Managing Director is a 22-year veteran of the Air Force and a current Civil Service employee. He is well versed in what takes to navigate both the federal government and civilian job markets.
